Tute is one of the most beloved card games in Spain, captivating players with its engaging gameplay. Its popularity extends to Latin America, where it is enjoyed by 2 to 5 players individually, or by four players in teams of two.

The objective of Tute is to be the first to reach a predetermined number of points. The game uses a Spanish deck consisting of forty cards. The card hierarchy, ranked from highest to lowest, is as follows: Ace (11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), and the white cards—7, 6, 5, 4, and 2—which hold no value.

Gameplay begins with the first card played setting the suit for the round. Players must follow suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card, including trump cards. The highest trump card always wins the trick; otherwise, the trick is won by the highest card of the leading suit.
