How to play the Carcassonne civilization board game online?

The game board is a medieval landscape that players build together as the game progresses.

With 72 tiles total, the game begins with one terrain tile face up and the other 71 shuffled face down for players to draw. Enjoy this top table game and emerge victorious in the Battle of Carcassonne.

On every turn, a player draws a new terrain tile and must place it next to tiles already face up.

Place each new tile so it expands the features of adjacent tiles—roads must connect to roads, fields to fields, and cities to cities. If you enjoy tabletop games or loved board games as a child, this is the perfect fun and popular board game to play with friends.

After placing a tile, a player may place a "follower" or "meeple" in an allowed slot on that tile. A follower cannot be used to claim any segment connected to or extending regions already claimed by other players.

The game concludes once the final tile is placed. At that point, all features—including fields—score points for players with followers on the board. The player with the most points wins the game of Carcassonne.
