ADW Launcher 2 goes far beyond just tweaking your Android desktop. You might think this legendary launcher hasn't seen an update in ages, but from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, we released this update three years ago—you just didn't notice! Don't worry, we get it—not everyone has 1.21 gigawatts to spare.

We've taken a good look at Google's recommendations on app options and settings, and we've decided to do the opposite. Because without freedom of choice, there's no creativity. A launcher without options is just plain boring.

You might find the sheer number of settings a bit overwhelming, and we understand that reaction. It's normal. You might not be ready for it yet, but your kids are going to love it. With approximately 3,720 ways to configure it to your liking, the math doesn't lie—it's the best launcher out there.

Yes, we have screens, icons, and widgets. But why stop there? You can create your own widgets, or if you prefer ready-made solutions, dive into themes and widget packs. If your device's desktop feels stale, just change it. Your style, your rules. Whether you choose to tweak or not, there's a setting for that. Shake it up, don't stir.

Endless Features

We've reprogrammed and redesigned most of the app from scratch, adding a plethora of new features. Here's a taste of what's new:

• Desktop transitions for a smoother experience.
• New section to configure icon badges.
• Visual mode to configure desktop, icon appearance, folder appearance, and app drawer options.
• Option to change the top panel/widget and the content type of the bottom panel (dock/widget).
• Wrap folder mode that lets you launch the first app in the folder on tap and show the folder contents on swipe up.
• Fast application search in the app drawer.
• Improved app categories in the app drawer.
• Enhanced user gesture management.
