[Welcome to Broken Promises – An Interactive Narrative Experience]

“In the city of broken oaths and hidden names, one man must choose between truth and vengeance. His past is a ghost. His sister is a miracle. And the syndicate? They know his face now… because he’s wearing it.”

🕵️‍♂️ ACT I: THE RETURN OF THE SISTER

The rain falls like shattered glass over the cracked pavement of Broken Promises, a name that fits too well. You are Jack Bates, undercover as "Jax Raine," a mid-tier enforcer in the Vermilion Syndicate—a criminal empire built on blackmail, blood, and silence.

You’ve been deep for 18 months. Your cover is flawless. Your mission: infiltrate the inner circle, expose The Architect—the shadowy mastermind pulling the strings—and deliver justice.

But tonight, everything changes.

As you exit the back door of The Hollow Lantern—a speakeasy disguised as a jazz club—your earpiece crackles.

Voice (distorted): “Jack… you’re not alone. She’s here.”

A woman steps out of the mist.

She’s wearing a coat that matches the one you last saw her in—you were twelve, and she was eight, standing at the edge of the old bridge before the flood took your father, before she vanished into the storm.

She looks up. Her eyes are the same.

She says: “Jack… I didn’t think you’d still be alive.”

Her name is Lena Bates.

And she’s not supposed to exist.

🧩 YOUR FIRST CHOICE:

🔹 A. Approach her immediately—ask what she wants, who sent her.
🔹 B. Back away slowly—draw your weapon, assess her as a threat.
🔹 C. Pretend not to recognize her—play the role of Jax Raine, stay in character.

⚖️ Consequences of Your Decision:

  • If you choose A:
You risk exposing your identity too soon. But Lena seems genuine—her voice trembles, and she knows details only family would know: “You used to draw trees in the dirt when you were scared.”
    Trust level with Lena increases.
Syndicate surveillance may detect your emotional shift.

  • If you choose B:
You remain the cold enforcer. But Lena flinches—she sees fear in your eyes, not just suspicion.
She may believe you’re still working for them.
Risk of losing her as an ally.
    But you avoid immediate exposure.

  • If you choose C:
You play the part perfectly. Jax Raine doesn’t know family. He doesn’t cry. He doesn’t remember.
Syndicate operatives near the club report seeing "Raine" acting oddly—tense, jumpy.
They begin to question your loyalty.
But Lena is now deeply confused. She remembers your laugh. Your old nickname: “Jacky-B.”

🕵️‍♂️ NEW INTELLIGENCE – CLUE UNCOVERED

While you hesitated, Lena dropped a small folded paper into your coat pocket as she passed.

Inside:

“Meet me at the old clock tower. Midnight. Bring the blue key. They’re watching the bridge.”
And in the corner, a faded drawing of a tree with roots shaped like a heart.

You recognize it. It was her drawing, from the night she disappeared.

🔧 Resource Management Alert:

  • Time Remaining: 72 hours until the Syndicate’s final move—Operation Hollow Crown, a planned massacre of rival gangs to seize control of the city’s ports.
  • Evidence Collected: 3/10 (clips from informant logs, encrypted text, photo of a man in a red tie).
  • Allies: 1 (Lena, if you trust her).
  • Trust Meter (Syndicate): 67% — They’re starting to doubt you.

💬 Character Insight – Lena’s Secret Message (Hidden in Audio Log #7):

“They made me disappear because I found the ledger. The one that names The Architect. I think he’s not who they say he is. I think he’s... someone you once trusted.”

🔒 Next Challenge: The Clock Tower

You must reach the old clock tower before midnight. But the bridge is now under Vermilion patrol. You’ll need to:

  • Distract guards using a fake signal (use your burner phone).
  • Navigate through a sewer tunnel — but it’s flooded. You’ll need a flashlight (battery: 30%) and a map (stolen from a Syndicate lieutenant—has you written on it: “He was wrong to trust you.”)

Who is “he”?
You’ve seen that handwriting before... in your father’s journal.

🌑 Final Choice Before Midnight:

🔹 A. Take the tunnel—risk drowning, but avoid patrols.
🔹 B. Use the bridge—cross under the cover of a storm. But the Syndicate has snipers on the rooftops.
🔹 C. Turn back—Lena might be a trap. Go to your handler, confirm her identity.

⚠️ Warning: If you choose C, Lena will not wait. She’ll go alone. And if she’s captured... you may never find her again.

📌 Your Mission:

  • Uncover the truth about The Architect.
  • Determine if Lena is real—or a weapon.
  • Keep your vow: “No more lies. No more silence.”
  • And decide—will you save your sister... or the city?

📱 [CONTINUE THE STORY]

🔹 Select your next move.
🔹 Your choice will shape Jack’s fate.
🔹 The clock is ticking. The bridge is watching. And Lena is already running.

“You don’t have to be good to do good, Jack. But you do have to be brave.”
Lena’s last message, sent via cracked radio at 11:47 PM.

Will you keep your word?
Or will you break the promise you made on the night your father died?

🎮 Press [A], [B], or [C] to continue.
The truth is in the shadows... and in your hands.

As of now, there is no official confirmation from Sony, Kojima Productions, or PlayStation that a film adaptation of Metal Gear Solid: Physint (a fictional or fan-created title) is in development — nor has Hideo Kojima publicly announced a movie project titled "Physint" set for a 5-6 year delay. It's possible you're referencing a mix of rumors, fan speculation, or a satirical/parodic concept. Hideo Kojima has indeed been involved in several cinematic and TV projects (such as Death Stranding, which was adapted into a film and TV series), and he has long expressed interest in expanding the Metal Gear universe across media. However, "Physint" is not a known Metal Gear game or project in the official canon. If you meant Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain — which was released in 2015 — then Kojima has previously hinted at potential film adaptations, but nothing has materialized yet. A 5–6 year timeline might align with rumors about future Metal Gear projects, but again, no official film titled "Physint" exists. In short: ❌ No evidence exists for a film called Physint by Kojima for PlayStation. ✅ Kojima has worked on cinematic projects, and future adaptations of Metal Gear are possible, but not confirmed. 🔍 "Physint" may be a fictional or humorous creation. Stay tuned to official sources like Sony’s PlayStation blog, Kojima Productions’ website, or trusted gaming news outlets for accurate updates.
