1. Choose a Trigger.

A trigger is the event that launches your macro. MacroDroid supports over 80 triggers—from location-based (GPS, cell towers) and device status (battery level, app activity) to motion sensors (shaking, light levels) and connectivity changes (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, notifications).

You can also create a home screen shortcut or trigger macros using the customizable MacroDroid sidebar.

2. Select the Actions to automate.

MacroDroid performs over 100 different actions—tasks you’d normally do manually. Connect to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices, adjust volume levels, speak text (such as notifications or the time), start a timer, dim the screen, run Tasker plugins, and much more.

3. Optionally: Set Constraints.

Constraints ensure your macro only runs under specific conditions.

For example, only connect to your office Wi-Fi on workdays. With constraints, you can limit macro activation by time, day, or other criteria. Choose from over 50 constraint types.
