The Next Generation of Malody

Malody V is an innovative cross-platform music game (Simulator) developed by a passionate group of volunteers. Initially released in 2014 with Key mode, Malody has evolved to support a diverse range of game modes including Key, Catch, Pad, Taiko, Ring, Slide, and Live. Each mode comes equipped with a comprehensive chart editor and online ranking system, enabling players to engage in multiplayer sessions with friends across the globe.

As we transitioned from the older version of Malody to Malody V, we completely rewrote the game using a new engine. This overhaul allowed us to address and fix hundreds of bugs present in the previous version, while also enhancing features such as the editor, profile, collection, and music player. We invite you to explore these improvements and more.

Support for a Variety of Chart Formats: Including osu, sm, bms, pms, mc, and tja, ensuring compatibility with multiple music game communities.
In-Game Editor: Empowering users to create and share their own charts, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
Multiplayer Mode: Available across all game modes, allowing players to compete or collaborate in real-time.
Full Keysound Chart Support: Enhancing the auditory experience with synchronized sound effects.
Custom Skin Support: Currently in development (WIP), this feature will allow for personalized visual experiences.
Play Recording Support: Enabling players to record and review their gameplay sessions.
Play Effects: Offering a variety of effects such as random, flip, const, rush, hide, origin, and death to keep the gameplay exciting and varied.
