New Monster Outbreaks Feature Tested in Monster Hunter Now

In the dynamic world of Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is rolling out a thrilling new feature called Monster Outbreaks. They're currently in the testing phase, eager to gather player feedback to fine-tune this feature before its official launch. This is your chance to dive into the action and help shape the future of Monster Hunter Now!

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing phase will run from April 26th to 27th, with two sessions each day. You can join the fun from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., all in local time. Don't miss out on this exciting event happening over the weekend!

During these sessions, specific outbreak points on the map will swarm with 8-star Black Diablos. The challenge? Team up with fellow hunters to take down 100 of these formidable beasts at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Remember, this isn't a global total but a per-location goal, so coordination is key!

To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count toward the goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked with a special icon on the map. Tap on them to get more details and even sign up on the roster to plan your hunt with others.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of this event are fascinating. If you and three other hunters take down a single monster, that counts as four toward the 100-monster goal. And if you reach the 100 mark before time runs out, you can keep hunting Black Diablos for the rest of the hour.

Success in hitting the 100-monster target comes with rewarding loot: 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you sign up on the roster, you're eligible for the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.

Ready to join the hunt? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and dive into the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend. Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience!
