Vampire Survivors Unveils SaGa-Inspired DLC and Cross-Save Feature

Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC named Emerald Diorama, which introduces an exciting crossover with Square Enix’s iconic JRPG series, SaGa. This marks the game's most substantial update to date, infusing the action with rich JRPG elements.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC transports players into a new stage resembling a mini world map, complete with world-hopping mechanics. This expansive update introduces over a dozen new characters, including puppeteers and singers of cursed melodies, enhancing the game's eerie atmosphere.

Players can now arm themselves with more than 16 new weapons and engage with the innovative Glimmer system, which allows for the random acquisition of new skills during runs. The soundtrack has also been enriched with nine new music tracks, adding to the immersive experience.

To dive into the Emerald Diorama, head to Moongolow and interact with the new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, unlock the content incrementally. The DLC further introduces character parties, enabling you to form your own mini squad for enhanced gameplay. Here's a sneak peek at Vampire Survivors: Emerald Diorama:

Additionally, two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each, have been added. "To End an Ice Age" complements the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the new DLC content.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

Concurrent with the DLC, the base game has received another free update titled The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces a new character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.

Players can achieve various new achievements and unlock Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens will unlock the full potential of The Coop update. Here’s a tip for players: avoid killing anything for the first minute of gameplay in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea, which can be evolved with Parm Aegis to unlock Gazebo.

Vampire Survivors is available for download on the Google Play Store, and with the new updates, players can enjoy cross-platform saving across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
