Application Description

The Tawakkalna Emergency app is the official tool provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for managing emergency situations and enhancing community protection. Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), this app has been instrumental in curbing the spread of COVID-19.

Initially launched to support relief efforts, Tawakkalna facilitated the electronic issuance of permits during the "Curfew Period." This service was crucial for both government and private sector employees, as well as individuals, helping to restrict the movement and, in turn, limit the spread of the virus throughout the Kingdom.

As the situation evolved into the "Return with Caution" phase, Tawakkalna introduced new features to ensure a safe transition. One of the key additions was the ability to display users' health status through a secure, color-coded system, which maintains high levels of privacy and security.
