Application Description

Introducing our specialized radio app designed specifically for USB DAB+ receivers, perfect for car headunits. This app provides a seamless and user-friendly interface to control your USB DAB+ receiver with ease. Enjoy the smooth functionality of the slideshow feature, although note that station logos are not supported. Importantly, this app operates without needing a network connection.

Please be aware that you must have a USB receiver with one of the specified device IDs listed at the end of this description for the app to function correctly.

New Features:

Save the currently visible infotext to a file with the option to append, share, or export that file.

Existing Features:

Customize the color of the info text by simply touching and holding the info text area.
Experimental support for steering wheel button operation:

Skip Next = Next Station
Skip Previous = Previous Station
Play = Next Filter (cycles through "All", "Selected Program Type", "Favourites")

This app is not intended to compete with the outstanding "DAB-Z" app but is designed for users who appreciate larger, more manageable interface elements due to less precise touchscreens. The user interface is highly optimized for car screens, featuring large buttons and selection areas, specifically tailored for a 1024x600 resolution in landscape mode. If you encounter display issues due to a different screen resolution, please share your feedback on the XDA Developers website (see link).

This app is built on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), which is published under the Apache License 2.0.
