Download Dive into the timeless charm of Classic Tri Peaks solitaire, a card game that's both engaging and challenging. Known by various names such as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, this solitaire variant utilizes a standard deck with the goal of clearing three card-formed peaks.
The game kicks off with eighteen cards laid out face-down to create three pyramids, each consisting of three overlapping tiers. Ten additional cards are placed face-up above these pyramids. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stock, from which the first card is drawn to initiate the waste pile. To clear the tableau, players move cards to the waste pile if they are either one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile, irrespective of suit. This can create a dynamic sequence (e.g., 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8) that continues until no further moves are possible. As you progress, any face-down cards no longer covered are flipped over, revealing new opportunities for play.
