Exploiting Weak Points:

The bow excels at targeting weak points. Focus Fire: Hailstorm (Shift/R1/RB) automatically locks onto these vulnerable areas, indicated by red spots.

Utilizing Coatings:

Coatings significantly enhance arrow effectiveness. Regular attacks fill the coating gauge (bottom-right). Once full, apply coatings (R/Triangle/Y). Each bow supports two coatings: Power, Pierce, Close-Range, Paralysis, Exhaust, Sleep, Poison, and Blast.

Employing Tracer Arrows:

Tracer arrows (consume coating points) stick to monsters, guiding subsequent shots. This is invaluable for consistently hitting weak points.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
