Authore: EmilyUpdate:May 26,2025

Developer Dream Dock has exciting news for fans of action-adventure games: they've announced Dreadmoor, a captivating first-person single-player experience inspired by the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, you'll take the helm of a fishing trawler, navigating through the haunting waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. This game blends fishing, exploration, combat against monstrous creatures, crafting, and boat upgrades, all while unraveling the mysterious secrets hidden beneath the waves. Currently in development for PC, you can get a glimpse of what's in store by watching the announcement trailer above and browsing through the first screenshots in the gallery below.

Dream Dock paints a vivid picture of Dreadmoor: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world where, after a global nuclear war, continents have sunk beneath the waves, replaced by scattered islands and submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Sell your catch to survivors, complete quests, and move one step closer to survival. Keep an eye on your ship’s cargo hold—creatures might devour each other! Upgrade your ship and craft equipment to explore hidden depths and secret locations. Mutated creatures and sinister mysteries lie hidden in the deep and within abandoned structures, especially at night. Beware of radiation, as the danger is even greater out there…"

With over 100 species of fish to catch, the challenge escalates as you delve deeper into the waters. The most elusive and formidable catches demand the most unusual bait, but they also promise the greatest rewards. As you navigate the Drownlands, you'll scavenge for resources and explore both the surface and the depths below. If Dreadmoor piques your interest, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and keep an eye out for further updates.
