"Marvel Rivals Bans Console Players Using Keyboard and Mouse"

In a recent official announcement from NetEase Games, it has been made clear that players using keyboard and mouse adapters on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles for Marvel Rivals will face account bans. The use of such devices as XIM, Cronus Zen, Titan Two, KeyMander, and Brook Sniper is seen as a breach of the game's rules. These adapters simulate gamepad inputs while allowing the precision of mouse and keyboard controls, which NetEase identifies as giving players an unfair advantage, particularly in competitive play where auto-targeting is involved.

NetEase elaborates that, "We define adapters as devices or programs that emulate gamepad control using a keyboard and mouse. This creates an imbalance in the game, especially in competitive modes." The company has developed advanced detection tools to identify the use of these adapters with high precision, and any detected violations will result in account suspension.

On another note, Marvel Rivals players have encountered issues where higher frame rates (FPS) correlate with increased ping. While this might not be a significant issue for those with lower ping, a sudden jump to 150 ms from a usual 90 ms can severely impact gameplay. This problem appears to be linked to the frame rate. For now, gamers are advised to await a patch from the developers to address this issue. In the meantime, maintaining an FPS around 90 is suggested as a temporary solution, which might seem counterintuitive for fans of games like Counter-Strike 2 but is currently recommended for optimal play in Marvel Rivals.
