How the Competitive Rank Reset Works
At the end of each Marvel Rivals season, your Competitive rank is lowered by seven tiers. For example, a Diamond I player will reset to Gold II. Players in Bronze III will remain there.
When the Rank Reset Occurs
The Competitive rank reset happens at the end of each season. Season 1, beginning January 10th (at the time of writing), will be the first reset.
All Ranks in Marvel Rivals
Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to climb through the ranks; 100 points advances you to the next tier. The ranks are:
Bronze (III-I), Silver (III-I), Gold (III-I), Platinum (III-I), Diamond (III-I), Grandmaster (III-I), Eternity, One Above All. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard ranking.
How Long Do Seasons Last in Marvel Rivals?
While Season 0 was short, future seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New seasons will introduce content like new heroes (e.g., the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.
