In *Pokémon Unite*, the journey to becoming the ultimate champion involves navigating through six distinct ranks. Each rank is divided into multiple classes, allowing for fine-grained progression until you're ready to ascend to the next rank. The number of classes within each rank increases as you climb higher, with higher ranks offering more classes to conquer. Remember, progression only occurs in ranked matches, not in quick or standard games. Here’s a rundown of the ranks you'll encounter:

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Starting Out

Your journey begins at the Beginner Rank, which is divided into three classes. To even enter ranked matches, you'll need to achieve Trainer Level 6, maintain a Fair Play score of at least 80, and secure five Pokémon licenses. Once these prerequisites are met, you can dive into the ranked match mode and start your climb from the Beginner Rank.

Performance Points

Your progression through the ranks is measured by Performance Points, which you earn in each ranked match. Points are awarded based on your performance, sportsmanship, participation, and winning streaks. Here's how you can earn Performance Points:

  • 5-15 points for scoring well in a match
  • 10 points for good sportsmanship
  • 10 points for participating
  • 10-50 points for maintaining a winning streak

Each rank has a cap on Performance Points. Once you hit this cap, you start earning Diamond Points, which are crucial for advancing to higher classes and ranks. Here are the Performance Point caps for each rank:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Advancement Rewards

Diamond Points are the currency for climbing the ranks in *Pokémon Unite*. You earn one Diamond Point for each victory in a ranked match and lose one for each defeat. Once you've maxed out your Performance Points for your current rank, you earn an additional Diamond Point per match. Four Diamond Points will elevate you to the next class within your rank. Once you reach the highest class in your current rank, you'll advance to the first class of the next rank.

At the end of each season, *Pokémon Unite* rewards players with Aeos Tickets based on their rank, with higher ranks yielding more tickets. These tickets are valuable as they can be used to purchase items and upgrades in the Aeos Emporium. Additionally, select ranks offer unique seasonal rewards, adding more incentive to climb the ranks.

Armed with this knowledge, you're now ready to tackle ranked matches and ascend through the ranks of *Pokémon Unite*. Best of luck in your quest to dominate and claim the best rewards!
