The developers plan to release quarterly updates, providing detailed information every three months, along with patch notes to confirm when these updates will go live in the game.

They intend to conduct a closed beta with mod makers to test the ModKit before its official release. Additionally, they aim to integrate Mod.io and Steam Workshop for a seamless modding experience.
The A-Life System will see continued improvements to enhance the game's NPC AI and simulation. Following a substantial 110 GB update for STALKER 2's Christmas patch last year, the developers are set to introduce "persistent A-Life improvements" and "smarter human combat; better cover/flanking use, limited grenades."
