How to Play

*Town of Salem* is designed for 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to different alignments such as Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals. As a Town member, your mission is to uncover and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they overpower you. The challenge lies in the fact that you don't know who among you is friend or foe.

On the flip side, if you're cast as an evil role like a Serial Killer, your objective is to covertly dispatch Town members under the cover of night while evading detection.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, *Town of Salem* guarantees a fresh experience with every session. Before gameplay begins, players enter a lobby where the host can customize the role selection. Roles are then randomly assigned from the chosen list. Each player receives a role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is when most roles come into play. Serial Killers quietly eliminate their targets, Doctors work to save the wounded, and Sheriffs probe for signs of suspicious behavior.

Day

During the day phase, Town members engage in discussions to identify suspected villains. When the voting phase kicks in, a majority vote can put a player on trial.

Defense

In the defense phase, the accused must convince the Town of their innocence or risk facing the gallows.

Judgement

The judgement phase is where the Town decides the fate of the accused. Players vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. A majority of guilty votes results in the defendant's execution by hanging.

Customization

Personalize your *Town of Salem* experience by choosing your map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name. These selections are visible to all other players in the game, allowing you to express your unique style.
