Although Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in significantly better shape than its predecessor, it still grapples with technical hiccups—a common hurdle for expansive RPGs with grand ambitions. Warhorse Studios remains committed to refining the game post-launch, and their upcoming patch promises to be a substantial undertaking.
In a recent talk with Tech4Gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that this patch, which has been in development for over five months, encompasses more than a thousand bug fixes.
"This patch has been in the works for over half a year and includes well over a thousand corrections."
Players are naturally curious about whether the patch will introduce noteworthy features beyond bug fixes, such as fresh gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. With the extensive preparation time, there’s optimism for significant enhancements, though concrete details will surface only when the full patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios confirmed that the game will receive official mod support within the coming two weeks. Initially, however, functionality will be limited—for example, players won’t be able to create custom missions. The team plans to expand modding tools over time. As of now, no specific release date for the patch has been announced.
