EA has unveiled an exciting new initiative called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. Fans were treated to a brief glimpse of gameplay footage from the current pre-alpha build, heightening anticipation for what's to come.
Within Battlefield Labs, invited participants will have the unique opportunity to experiment with core mechanics and innovative concepts. However, not all features tested will necessarily make it into the final game. To ensure confidentiality, participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before diving into the various gameplay elements. The testing will initially include popular modes such as Conquest and Breakthrough. Early phases will concentrate on refining combat dynamics and the game's signature destruction system, with subsequent stages dedicated to balance testing.
Pre-registration is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series players. Over the coming weeks, a select few thousand gamers will receive invitations to join this exclusive testing phase, with plans in place to extend the program to additional regions in the future.

The shooter has officially entered what the developers describe as a "key stage of development." While an official release date remains undisclosed, the new Battlefield game is being crafted by a collaborative effort from four esteemed teams: DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect. This multi-studio approach promises to bring fresh perspectives and cutting-edge gameplay to the beloved franchise.
